I'm Not the Same Woman as I Was

I am 74 years old and I really had very good health until I turned 70. Then things started going bad. I didn't have a real doctor so I would have to go to one of those walk-in clinics when I got a sore throat or something like that. I had to get myself a real doctor when my legs started hurting, and he diagnosed me with type 2 diabetes. My blood sugar level was over 300, and my blood pressure was elevated too.

I continued to see that doctor because he is a nice man, but then he started talking about having to amputate my toes and my feet and surgery for a hip condition. That is when I came to Dr. Whitaker's Wellness Institute.

Since then I have not been the same woman. At Whitaker Wellness, they have absolutely miraculously taken care of practically all my problems. I only occasionally have stiffness in my hip and some neuropathy and retinopathy.

I've lost 25 pounds since I've been here without even trying and without being hungry, which is amazing because I was hungry all the time before. It is a wonderful thing to be able to fit into some of the clothes that I had put away in the back of the closet. I still have a few pounds to go and a little ways to go as far as my cholesterol and blood pressure are concerned.

Furthermore I love coming here to Whitaker Wellness. Everyone is so friendly that I felt like I was among friends the minute I walked in the doors. At this point I start to choke up because everyone has been wonderful to me and it certainly shows. Even old friends tell me that I haven't looked this way for ages, and I certainly haven't felt this way for ages. I cannot praise this place enough. I have many things to be grateful for and among the top things are this clinic and the people here.
