Out of His Wheelchair With IV Glutathione

It's difficult to believe the dramatic effects of IV glutathione unless you witness them yourself. Hugh, who attended the Back to Health Program at the Whitaker Wellness Institute, underwent three treatments during the week that he was here, arriving for his first treatment in a wheelchair and exhibiting a significant tremor in his left arm. By his second treatment, the tremor in his left arm had decreased, and his wife reported that he was much more mentally alert.

Hugh's subsequent progress borders on miraculous. He walked into the clinic for his third treatment without the wheelchair, although his gait was a bit unsteady and he held his arms stiffly at his sides. Twenty minutes afterwards, however, Hugh was walking around the clinic, arms swinging, the tremor in his left arm completely gone. Hugh's mood, mental sharpness and energy level have improved so much since he returned home that he has resumed his law practice!

Immune Drip Nips Colds, Flu in the Bud

Whenever I feel like I'm starting to come down with a cold or flu, I head over to the Whitaker Wellness Institute for an IV immune drip. It contains high doses of vitamin C, which improve immune function. Believe it or not, I feel better almost immediately, and rarely does the "bug" get the best of me. My children (late teens, early 20s) also go to the clinic for immune drips, and they have the same experience.

IVs Halt Macular Degeneration

Bill E. was diagnosed with macular degeneration at the age of 80. His ophthalmologist told him it was a progressive disease and there wasn't much he could do. Bill wasn't ready to accept this prognosis, so he came to my clinic. We started him on a comprehensive nutritional supplement regimen, and a series of intravenous (IV) treatments, including vitamins, minerals, and taurine.

He noted improvement right away. Bill said the most noticeable thing was that he could read the fractions in the stock price quotes in the newspaper, which he couldn't before. At his annual exam, his ophthalmologist was stunned to find that his visual acuity had actually improved! Bill continued to get monthly IV treatments and his vision remained stable.

IV Nutrients Tackle Chronic Fatigue

I first saw Holly when she was 44 years old. She had been active and athletic most of her adult life and worked full time until she contracted acute mononucleosis. This put her in bed for six weeks. Now, she was extremely fatigued, almost bedridden, and was unable to work in an office environment, working at home a couple of hours a day. Aerobics and tennis were out; shopping exhausted her.

The difficulty physicians have trying to help patients with chronic fatigue is that it is rarely caused by a single problem. Obvious reasons for fatigue such as anemia, low thyroid function, or some other specific disease are sometimes found, but for the most part, excessive fatigue is a mystery. When this happens, many physicians wash their hands of patients and refer them to a psychiatrist.

When fatigue is a major problem, therapeutic nutrition makes a lot of sense, and it certainly worked for Holly. I started her on intravenous nutrients, including large amounts of vitamin C, B complex (100 mg) with an additional 200 mg of thiamine, minerals, and trace elements. I also started giving her oral nutritional supplements, including coenzyme Q-10, l-carnitine, vitamins, and minerals, as well as injections of vitamin B-12 two to four times a month.

Holly had been "down" for 18 months, but began to respond almost immediately. She was soon working in her office six hours a days, shopping four times a week without exhaustion, and was active the full day. Her employers welcomed her back with a major project to develop, work on, and complete. She continued her intravenous nutrients, as well as oral supplementation, and before long she was not only working a full week, but weekends as well, and she began traveling extensively for her company.

She stopped the IV nutrients some months ago, but continues to take her oral supplements and feels that her level of functioning is back to normal.
